FOR SELECT BRANDS FROM THE SANTA RITA ESTATES PORTFOLIO
New Partnership Will Expand Distribution of Cigar Box and Frida Kahlo Throughout the United States
BOSTON, MA – January 5, 2022 – M.S. Walker Brands has today announced that it has been named the new U.S. importer for the Cigar Box and Frida Kahlo wine brands, part of the Santa Rita Estates portfolio. This new national partnership builds upon a longstanding relationship between Cigar Box and M.S. Walker’s wholesale distribution operation, which has been selling the brand throughout the Northeast since it launched in 2011.

Cigar Box, which is Santa Rita’s flagship brand in the United States, is an award-winning lineup of estate wines from Chile and Argentina that offer immense value. Each of the wines in the portfolio – Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinot Noir – are currently available nationwide for a suggested retail price of $12.99.
Santa Rita Estates is an official partner with Frida Kahlo through Frida Kahlo Corporation since 2018. The legendary female Mexican artist of the same name inspires the Frida Kahlo range and celebrates her iconic existence and extraordinary artwork that has left behind a legacy that transcends and overcomes barriers of culture. This line of wines builds upon this legacy by honoring her passion, elegance, and creative prowess. Frida Kahlo Red Blend and Cabernet Sauvignon are available for a suggested retail price of $16.99.
M.S. Walker Brands will now also be the importer for Battle Axe, which is a 100% Argentinian Malbec sourced from a single vineyard estate with vines that are over 80 years old. Like the rest of the Santa Rita Estates portfolio, this wine over delivers for a suggested retail price of $19.99.
