Four-course dinner pairs French-inspired cuisine with wines from two of France’s most celebrated wine regions
FORT WORTH, TEXAS (October 6, 2026) – The Blue Room at The Crescent Hotel Fort Worth will continue its monthly wine and beverage dinner series with a Burgundy & Bordeaux Wine Dinner on Thursday, October 29, from 6 to 9 p.m. The four-course experience, prepared by Executive Chef Sean Malek, will pair French-inspired dishes with a curated selection of wines from Burgundy, Bordeaux and other regions of France.
The evening will open with Seared Foie Gras with Grapefruit Gastrique, Grapefruit Suprême, Buttered Brioche, Citrus Lace and Rosemary Feuilletine, paired with J. de Villebois Pouilly-Fumé 2025. The second course will feature French Onion Short Rib with Potato Dauphinoise and Braised Carrot, paired with Louis Jadot Côte de Beaune-Villages 2023 from Burgundy.
The third course will showcase Confit Duck with White Bean Cassoulet, Focaccia with Ricotta and Frisée Salad, paired with Château Duhart-Milon “Moulin de Duhart” Pauillac 2022 from Bordeaux. The evening will conclude with Profiteroles, paired with Clarendelle “Amberwine” Monbazillac 2022.
Set within The Crescent Hotel Fort Worth, The Blue Room offers a more intimate setting for curated culinary and wine experiences. The Burgundy & Bordeaux Wine Dinner will explore the distinct character and traditions of two of France’s most renowned wine regions, with each pairing selected to complement the flavors of the accompanying course.
