The Mexican Shines with Appetizers for Tequila

I belatedly visited The Mexican recently for a media event introducing Flecha Azul tequila. In the cigar lounge, dozens of tequila lovers gathered to try the cocktails alonside the restaurant's appetizers. At these kind of events the appetizers are too often an afterthought. Not on this occasion. The chefs at The Mexican showed a solid grasp of the varied flavors of Mexican food and pairing with the coutry's most famous spirit.
