HARD WORKING WINES - Winemaker McPrice “Mac” Myers (Paso Robles)

  • Specializing in high-quality yet budget-friendly wines every year since establishing the winery in 2002

  • The Hard Working Wines memorializes Mac's dedication to delivering accessible excellence –  and is winning over fans and critics alike priced at $25.

  • Right Hand Man, Bull by the Horns, and Pound for Pound all received a 94 from Robert Parker and High on the Hog received a 91 from Wine Enthusiast.

Right Hand Man -- California Central Coast Syrah 2022

Bull by the Horns -- Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Pound for Pound -- Paso Robles Zinfandel 2022

High on the Hog -- Paso Robles Red Wine 2021

I tasted all four and found the Right Hand Man (Central Coast Syrah) to be the most impressive. Vibrant fruit carefully merged with oak produce a well-balanced full-bodied wine that is enjoyable to drink now or would keep 4-6 years.
