Wise Establishes Parent Company and Website Portal to Encompass Growing Portfolio of Luxury Wineries and Vineyards

NAPA, Calif. (October 17, 2024) – Brion Wise, proprietor of BRION, B. Wise Vineyards, Mark Herold Wines, Constable Whiskey, Brion Wise Champagne, and Amapola Creek Vineyard & Winery today announces the launch of Brion Wise Vintners, which will encompass the entirety of Wise’s growing portfolio while consolidating each property’s information under one centralized website.

The new website, BrionWiseVintners.com is designed specifically for the trade and media, meeting the demand from restaurateurs, sommeliers, wine directors, distributors, fine wine retailers, importers/exporters and others in the industry who have taken an increased interest in Wise and each of the labels under the Brion Wise Vintners umbrella in recent years. The consolidation of Wise’s portfolio all in one place – as well as an expanded bio of Wise with a timeline of his milestones and wine country acquisitions – helps to better outline and articulate his California wine country investments in recent years. Consumers will still be encouraged to utilize the individual winery websites, which are clearly linked in the trade portal.

This announcement comes on the heels of back-to-back acquisitions that have made wine industry headlines in recent years, including the purchase of a 120-acre Pritchard Hill estate that will serve as the future home to Wise’s Napa Valley flagship label, BRION, as well as the procurement of Mark Herold Wines, and the iconic winery site that was previously home to Cosentino (which will soon be home to Mark Herold).

For decades, Wise has been a pioneering investor in Sonoma County and Napa Valley vineyards,

wineries, distilleries, and hospitality properties including B. Wise Vineyards, BRION, Amapola Creek Winery, and Mark Herold Wines. His belief that winemakers’ individual artistic style is essential to the terroir story of every vineyard means that his wineries are known to tap some of the top winemakers and viticulturists for the various vineyards in Wise’s portfolio – often using separate consultants for different vineyards within the same label.

Wise’s other investments include wine country vineyard holdings spanning Sonoma County from his Moon Mountain District home base (where he also lives) to Fort Ross-Seaview District. In Napa Valley, his investments and partnerships include BRION Estate on Pritchard Hill, BRION at Sleeping Lady Vineyard in Yountville, the Upper Range vineyards between Rutherford and Pritchard Hill, Constable Whiskey, and Caldwell Vineyard in Coombsville among others. Wise launched Grand Cru Champagnes in 2023 under the Brion Wise brand. In addition to working with talented winemakers, Wise also employs a Master Cooper, providing his winemakers with the tools they need to craft exceptional, site-expressive wines.
