Veldhuizan Cheese Making Class

From media services: Cheese Making Class Aged Cow Milk Cheese September 10th, 9am-3:30pm

Learn how to make cheese! In this class Stuart will make a batch of an aged cow milk cheese with you such as Havarti or an Alpine style, as well as a soft cheese. You will make your own wheel, which we will then age for you in our caves. It will be ready for you to pick up (or we can ship if you pay shipping) in 3 months. The fresh cheese you will take home with you that day. Lunch is included as well as a tour of our facilities and aging caves. Cost is $250/person. Space is limited in each class, reservations required.  -Make your own wheel of cheese (we age for you) -Make a batch of fresh cheese, take home and enjoy that day -Lunch & coffee included -Tour of aging caves
