Crafted as the most approachable style from the Symington Family Estates’ Fonte Souto property, this vintage combines meticulous attention to detail with a youthful profile intended for immediate enjoyment. The vineyard is nestled 500 meters above sea level within the São Mamede National Park, where the altitude provides a vital cooling influence against the summer heat. As the Symington family’s first property outside the Douro region, this Portalegre estate is gaining recognition for wines of exceptional concentration and minerality.

The 2025 vintage marks a sophisticated evolution in the pursuit of freshness. For the first time, the winemaking team introduced night harvesting for white grapes to preserve aromatic precision and ensure the fruit reached the winery at peak balance. The result is a crisp, vibrant blend of 75% Arinto and 25% Verdelho. By fermenting the grapes in stainless steel vats at low temperatures and strictly preventing malolactic fermentation, the wine retains a pure clarity.
