Monarch to Welcome Chappellet for Intimate Napa Valley Wine Dinner
The October 21 dinner will pair wines from one of Napa Valley’s founding families with a six-
course tasting menu by Executive Chef Jason Rohan
DALLAS, TX (October 5, 2026) – Monarch, the Italian restaurant located 49 stories above
downtown Dallas, will welcome Chappellet for an intimate wine dinner on Wednesday,
October 21, bringing together the Napa Valley estate’s wines with a six-course tasting menu
from Executive Chef Jason Rohan.
Founded in 1967 by Donn and Molly Chappellet, Chappellet has farmed the steep, rocky
slopes of Pritchard Hill for nearly six decades. The family was among the early pioneers to
recognize the potential of the elevated site, where the estate continues to produce wines
shaped by its distinctive terrain and sense of place.
April Collins, Director of Sales at Chappellet, will join guests at Monarch for the evening,
sharing the estate’s history and winemaking story while guiding diners through the featured
wines.
The evening will begin with a brief welcome reception, followed by a six-course tasting menu
curated by Chef Rohan, with each course thoughtfully paired with a Chappellet selection. The
dinner will offer guests an opportunity to experience the wines alongside Monarch’s modern
Italian cuisine in an intimate, communal setting overlooking downtown Dallas.

Led by National Director of Wine & Beverage Amy Mundwiler and Head Sommelier
Andrew Bentz, Monarch’s team of five full-time sommeliers takes a guest-first approach to
navigating the breadth of the collection, guiding guests toward selections based on their
preferences, meal and appetite for discovery. The wine and culinary teams work closely to
