I am planning an update trip to New Orleans in the next month so I'm taking a look at things that are going on in this most culturally distinct region of the country.

The Dome Pour
Yield(s): about 12 cocktails

Big Batch Recipe (serves about 12)
3 cups strawberry-infused tequila
1.5 cups lime juice
¾ cup triple sec
Lime Wheels for garnish (3-4 limes)
Combine strawberry tequila, lime juice and triple sec in a large pitcher.
Stir thoroughly to combine.
Serve on the rocks in the glass of your choice.
Garnish each glass with two lime wheels.
Sub Recipe for Strawberry Infused Tequila
(Makes about 16-17 servings)
3 quarts of Louisiana strawberries
1 liter tequila
Macerate strawberries and then add to an airtight container with the tequila.
Let sit for a minimum of three days.
Strain and it's ready to use.
