A blend of 45% cabernet sauvignon, 45% merlot, and 10% cabernet franc. This is Sosie’s homage to Bordeaux. Grown at 2,000ft in volcanic soils where constant wind is an established fact, Cavedale Vineyard is a unique site in which to grow grapes.

TASTING NOTES

A: Opaque ruby;

N: Ripe raspberry preserves fruit. Chocolate, licorice;

T: Effusive fruit of sour cherries, raspberry compote, and blackcurrant. Medium acid. Velvet tannins. The 50% new French oak is not pronounced.

Sample.
