This widely available wine is one of the best values in California Chardonnay. It embodies a nose of ripe stone fruit (peach), tropical fruit (mango, pineapple) and vanilla from oak age. In the mouth the fruit is foremost but the oak comes through as well. Lively acidity means that this wine never tires the palate. Best with food, I tried it with cod en papillote which paired very well.
