WINE REVIEW: La Bernarde 2019 'Les Hauts du Luc', Côtes de Provence, France ($18)

by Andrew Chalk

This wine shows how much of France is the value-leader in the wine world. This well made and versatile wine works as a quaffing wine or with pork, veal or most poultry dishes. It possesses a nose of strawberry, medium acid, and just a hint of sweetness on the palate (note: it is nonetheless a dry wine).

Recommended on these hot summer days in Dallas.
