WINE REVIEW: JUSTIN 2019 Sauvignon Blanc, Central Coast, CA ($16)

andychalk

by Andrew Chalk

JUSTIN sources grapes from all over California’s diverse Central Coast for this competently made sauvignon blanc.

It paired splendidly with a jambalaya (takeout from Charlie’s Creole Kitchen, for those who live in Dallas)

Appearance: Classic light straw color;

Nose: Moist herbaceousness, lemon, white peach, white flowers, green apples;

Palate: Bright acidity frames lemon and green apple flavors. The use of little or no oak lets the fruit shine through.
