Girasole Vineyards, planted by Charlie Barra in 1955. Now amounting to 300 acres sitting on benchlands above the Russian River in Mendocino County. There is a big focus on sustainability. Organic agriculture, capturing runoff from vineyards in ponds for irrigation and frost protection.

TASTING NOTES

Appearance: Vibrant translucent ruby.

Nose: Savory ripe red fruit.

Taste: Fruit forward, very ripe raspberry.Straightforward flavors.

A good value, everyday drinking wine. Don’t over analyse, just enjoy!

Sample.
