WINE REVIEW: Attems Pinot Grigio Ramato, Friuli DOC, Italy (SRP $20)

by Andrew Chalk

Here it is, Pinot Grigio rosé. The producers from the Friuli area prefer to say that it is copper-colored. Summarized by the word ‘ramato’.

Appearance: Copper orange color;

Nose: Ripe apples, lemon, cantaloupe, white peach;

Palate: Weightness in the mouth. Crisp with fruit flavors of ripe apples;
