WINE REVIEW: 2019 Robert Hall Sauvignon Blanc, Paso Robles ($8 375ml)

by Andrew Chalk

Delightful Sauvignon from this major producer in Paso Robles on California’s Central Coast. The nose is predominately pear and yellow apples. On the palate these fruits are confirmed and the wine presents vibrant acid.

This would be a good choice with seafood and poultry and able to stand up to heavy sauces. It would also pair well with Thai or other Asian cuisine that is spicy but not hot (e.g. Sichuanese).

Sample.
