Appearance: Light straw color. Day bright.

Nose: Herbaceous, lemon, white peach, honeydew melon, pear.

Taste: Fruit confirmed. Medium acid. Medium bodyweight. Some phenolic backbone. Pyrazines.

This wine is 95% Sauvignon Blanc and 5% Semillon. In that respect it follows the formulation of white Bordeaux. The semillon trims the acid and adds body.

The grapes come entirely from the winery’s Miller Ranch vineyard. Sauvignon Blanc is, in fact, a third of their production.

Overall, this wine is very cleanly made. Try it with seafood or poultry dishes.
