From Comanche, Texas’ Brennan Vineyards produces some of the most consistently good wine in the state. Roussanne is one of their best (another is Viognier). This wine has a nose of apples, mango, and lime. There is a sweetness of oak used in the ageing.
Ripe apples and mango in a firm acid backbone mark the palate. The considerable body makes this wine a good foil to cream sauces.
