by Andrew Chalk

Appearance: Ruby with an almost opaque core and translucent meniscus.

Nose: Spicy, tomato leaf, red fruit, forest floor, coconut;

Palate: Bright forward fruit. Long earthy finish. Chewy tannins with a solid backbone.

This is a brand from Hahn Estate, made from grapes grown on their estate. It is alluring to drink now, either as a quaffing wine or with pork, game, or veal. Recommended.
