Appearance: Dark ruby. Totally opaque.

Nose: Dark fruit. Plums and blackberries.

Palate: Ripe fruit. Plums, blackberries. Chewy tannins. Pronounced wood. Heavily structured. Medium finish.

The heavy style of this wine almost conceals the fact that it is Cabernet Sauvignon and not a blend with Zinfandel. The pyrazine elements are completely suffocated. It is definitely a style that is coming in at the moment but not one that I have unequivocal good feelings about. You be the judge against your own palate.
