Last week, they each put their best foot forward to impress Dallas. Cord providing the food, The Singleton the beverages.

A big hit from Cord was his recipe for steak bites

    • Combine ingredients for the sauce and set in a bowl.

    • Serve with sliced green onion garnish and enjoy

The Singleton presented a selection of cocktails that were a hit with the folks at my table. Most of the people were yourng, big fans of Cord, but newcomers to Scotch. I discovered that The Singleton had really pulled the stops out and bought sample of 12-year, 15-year, and 18-year old whiskies and I became an ewvangelist for trying, and comparing them. The softness of the 18-year seemed to be the fan winner! The cocktails seemed to be the favorite format to enjoy Scotch.
