Edge of the Lake Vineyard and Winery is a great place to visit and under an hour from Dallas. When you go, be sure to meet "the boss". That would be Lola, the friendly, child-loving Rottweiler who doubles as a vacuum cleaner with food particles guests drop on the patio.
Just be ready if she licks you, 'rotts' slobber a lot!
