OAK'D is gearing up for its next wine dinner, which is Tuesday, October 25 @ 6:45 p.m.
October's Mediterranean/Spanish-inspired 5-course menu and wine pairings are as follows:
Yellow tomato gazpacho soup [Paired with: Terras Gauda Abadia de San Campio Albarino]
Pan seared trout on a bed of saffron jasmine rice, topped with creamy lemon pan sauce [Paired with: Terras Gauda O Rosal]
Wild mushroom risotto with parmesan cream fresh drizzle topped with fried basil leaves and whiskey candied bacon pieces [Paired with: Quinta Sardonia Sardon]
Smoked bacon sea scallop with creamy Yukon mashed potatoes served with an olive tapenade crostini [Paired with: Quinta Sardonia Red Blend]
Spanish almond cake with fresh berries, coffee whiskey caramel drizzle and vanilla whipped cream [Paired with: Terra D’Oro Port]
