The thing you see right away is that this is one of the least expensive pinot noirs from California. For the money it is a bargain with lashes of bright red fruit, varietal correctness, and a clean, racy finish. At these price levels you don’t get complexity or French oak, but it is all the more impressive that such an enjoyable pinot noir can be delivered.
