Kick off the School Year in Style at Mirador

Enjoy lunch or brunch at this downtown gem, because back-to-school season deserves a celebration.

DALLAS, TEXAS (August 7, 2025) As summer wraps up and the new school year begins, parents eagerly anticipate getting their kids back on a set routine. To celebrate the back-to-school season, enjoy an elegant meal at Mirador. The unique charm of this downtown destination makes it the perfect spot for a weekday lunch with fellow moms or a weekend brunch with the kids to kick off the new school year together. Whether treating yourself to a day out, enjoying some much-needed time with your spouse, or ringing in fall with the whole family, Mirador is open for celebrating these special moments Tuesday through Saturday.

Midday lunch and cocktails with a group of parents is the best way to enjoy the kids being back at school and out of the house again. Dine on some Caviar Deviled Eggs and Ahi Tuna Cornettes for the most elegant start to lunch. Don’t miss out on the unique Lobster Cobb, Wagyu Sandwich, and Fusilli entrees. Say “cheers” with a Mirador Margarita, Italian Honey Spritz, or a Berry Elixir

The concept’s Saturday Brunch is the perfect way to unwind during the busy upcoming school year and commemorate your kid’s positive report cards, good behavior, or even cheer them up after those tougher school weeks. From 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., indulge in a variety of standout dishes like the Foie-ffle, Steak & Eggs, and fan favorite Caviar Donuts, or try the new Chocolate Donuts topped with Maldon salt and gold flakes. Pair the delicious brunch dishes with beloved cocktails such as an Espresso Martini or the classic Mimosa.

For those who like to meet up at the beginning of the school year for work or socializing, Mirador can host get-togethers and fundraisers, small and large. In 2024, The Lamplighter School hosted a 65-person grade-mom luncheon, raising Parent Association funds for the upcoming year. With a dining room that can accommodate 70 guests for a seated luncheon, Mirador offers a three-course lunch, including a glass of wine and complimentary valet parking – the ideal back-to-school kick-off event. Additionally, if a school is looking for venue space to host auction nights and much more, Mirador’s 200+-person capacity is just right, with two bars and a private balcony overlooking The Eye. Plus, the restaurant will support fundraising efforts with a special donation package. Visit mirador-dallas.com to start planning.

“The start of a new school year calls for celebration and reconnection. Whether it’s about catching up with friends after the summer break or getting the whole family together for Saturday brunch to toast school starting, Mirador feels like the perfect spot to usher in a new season,” said Dominique Jafari, Food & Beverage Director at Headington Companies.
