Guest House Makes Its Dallas Debut This October | Austin-Born Social Dining Destination Comes Home to Texas

FROM THE WIRES...
Austin-born social dining destination returns to its Texas roots for its fourth location, bringing elevated New American cuisine, theatrical cocktails and a hospitality-first approach to 1900 Cedar Springs Road
Dallas, Texas (September 9, 2026) – Guest House, the elevated dining and entertainment concept from RDM Hospitality, is coming home to Texas. The Austin-born social dining destination will make its highly anticipated Dallas debut this October at 1900 Cedar Springs Road in Uptown, marking the brand’s fourth location following Austin, Las Vegas, and Scottsdale, with Aspen expected to follow.
Led by Raj Kumar (Co-Founder & CEO), Johann Moonesinghe (Co-Founder & Partner), and David Mulugheta (Partner), the Dallas opening represents more than another point on the brand’s growing national footprint. As Guest House expanded beyond Austin, establishing another home in Texas remained central to the team’s long-term vision. With an existing customer base already traveling between Austin and North Texas, Dallas was a natural next step, but the team was committed to waiting until the right location, timing, and opportunity aligned.

“Texas is where Guest House started, so opening in Dallas is incredibly meaningful to us,” says Raj Kumar, Co-Founder and CEO. “As we expanded into other markets, we never lost sight of wanting to continue growing our footprint here at home. Dallas is a relationship-driven city with an incredible hospitality community, and it was important to us to wait until we found the right location and the right moment. We’re proud of what we’ve built, but we also understand that you earn your place in a community. We’re excited to introduce Guest House to Dallas, build those relationships, and create a place locals genuinely want to make their own.”
At its core, Guest House is built around a simple idea: guests shouldn’t have to choose between exceptional food and a great night out.
Part modern American restaurant and part social gathering place, Guest House was created to meet guests wherever the evening takes them—from happy hour and business dinners to date nights, celebrations and cocktails after dinner. Food and hospitality remain at the center, while design, music, and thoughtful experiential elements allow the atmosphere to build naturally as the evening progresses.
“The goal of RDM Hospitality is to always appeal to the mood of our guests, offering them a place they want to come three times in one week, but allowing them the opportunity to have a completely different encounter each time,” says Johann Moonesinghe, Co-Founder & Partner. “The food, design, music and hospitality all work together to create something memorable, but at its core Guest House is about connection and making people feel welcome.”

That philosophy is reflected in the brand’s guiding sentiment, “Welcome Home,” an elevated experience that feels sophisticated without sacrificing warmth, approachability, or genuine hospitality.
“We didn’t want to come to Dallas simply because we could,” adds David Mulugheta, Partner and a Dallas native. “Having grown up here, it was especially important to me that we came at the right time, with the right location, and created something that feels distinctly Dallas. We believe we found that in Uptown, and I’m incredibly excited to bring Guest House to the city where I grew up and welcome everyone in.”
Led by Corporate Executive Chef Todd Mark Miller, Guest House’s culinary program centers on elevated New American cuisine, pairing familiar, craveable favorites with premium ingredients, fine-dining technique, and an element of surprise. Miller’s career includes leading the culinary programs at STK and Stephen Starr’s acclaimed Barclay Prime, where he served as opening Executive Chef and developed the menus, before joining the Guest House team to open the brand’s original Austin location. Since then, he has continued to shape and evolve the culinary program as Guest House has expanded.
In Dallas, many of the dishes that have become signatures across existing Guest House locations will arrive, along with approximately seven to ten new dishes developed specifically for the Dallas market.
Guests can expect favorites including Chicken Tenders, Spicy Rigatoni, Steak Tartare, and the Wagyu Pastrami, alongside more indulgent offerings such as Tuna & Caviar Cones, Parmesan-Crusted Filet Mignon, premium steaks, an expansive raw bar, caviar service, and theatrical tableside Wagyu presentations.
And then there’s the bread. Guest House’s complimentary croissant-brioche has become an unexpected signature of its own, consistently earning praise from guests across the brand’s existing locations and proving that sometimes one of the most memorable parts of dinner arrives before the first course.
The broader culinary philosophy is rooted in taking familiar flavors and reimagining them through thoughtful technique, quality ingredients, and playful presentation. Dallas-exclusive additions are currently being finalized, with additional culinary details to be revealed ahead of opening.
That same balance of craftsmanship and personality extends behind the bar, where Guest House pairs serious mixology with a playful sense of theater. Among its signatures are the Tugley Woods and Magic Mushroom, cocktails presented with whimsical touches that evoke an “Alice in Wonderland”-like sense of discovery. The brand’s espresso martini has also emerged as a standout guest favorite, and with the opening of Guest House Dallas, a new martini program will launch. An expansive wine program rounds out the beverage offerings.
The Dallas interiors are being designed by award-winning hospitality design firm Built Inc., carrying forward Guest House’s immersive design philosophy while creating an identity specific to its newest Texas home. But the Guest House experience is designed around more than what guests see. The Guest House experience is designed around more than what guests see. A signature scent created specifically for the brand contributes to the sensory experience, while the restaurant’s acoustics are intentionally engineered so its curated soundtrack can build energy throughout the evening without overpowering conversation.
Music plays an integral role in that evolution. Rather than functioning as a traditional nightlife venue, Guest House uses carefully curated programming to complement the dining experience, allowing the atmosphere to transition naturally from dinner into a more energetic social setting as the night progresses.
Thoughtful lighting, materials, music, and acoustics work together to create a space that feels polished yet comfortable, energetic yet welcoming. Additional details surrounding the Dallas design and music programming will be revealed closer to opening.
Since debuting in Austin in 2024, Guest House has expanded to Las Vegas and Scottsdale while remaining rooted in the philosophy embedded in its name: a place where familiar tastes are reinvented, meals become celebrations, and hospitality makes every guest feel welcome. Rather than simply replicating what has worked elsewhere, the team sees Dallas as an opportunity to create a Guest House shaped for the city it is entering, one centered around exceptional food, thoughtful cocktails, genuine hospitality, and an experience guests can return to for entirely different occasions.
Additional announcements surrounding the official opening date, reservations, Dallas-exclusive menu items, cocktail offerings, design details, hours of operation, and opening programming will be shared in the coming weeks.
