De-Nada Is Additive-Free Tequila

by Andrew Chalk

Tequila is still a hot category, over a decade after it started a sales growth streak in the US market. De-Nada is one of just 66 tequila b rands that has been certified as additive-free. Made by Vivanco in the Highlands of Jalisco the De-Nada brand is actually the creation of two US college graduates from Louisiana.

I found the blanco to be richer in agave flavors and less ferocious in its bite than most blanco tequilas. The reposado is softer (and more pleasant) still and m akes no attempt to hide its absorbtion of oak used in aging.
