Casa Dragones, just launched a brand-new, uniquely crafted expression. Born in San Miguel de Allende in 2009, Casa Dragones is a small batch tequila brand with the mission of crafting extraordinary tequila. The brand continues its journey of innovation by unveiling its fourth expression, a Reposado tequila.
Casa Dragones Reposado is the first tequila rested exclusively in Mizunara, a rare oak native to Japan and traditionally used for aging Japanese whiskies. CEO and Co-Founder, and Mexico’s first official maestra tequilera, Bertha González Nieves, began working with Japan’s only independent cooperage to craft brand new casks of 100% Mizunara with a custom char in which to rest their new tequila. Bertha González Nieves has worked diligently for the last 14 years to succeed in a male-dominated industry in the agave fields of Mexico, combining innovative processing techniques and authentic Mexican heritage to create her unique and high-quality tequila.
