This wine of 80%+ Grenache and the remainder Syrah is an example of red Côtes du Rhône at its best. For a bargain price the buyer gets an approachable expression of the Grenache grape. The nose is redolent with red fruit. On the palate the tannins are soft, and the fruit effusive with red fruit.

This is not an ageing wine. Drink it now, either on its own or pair it with pasta with red sauce or red meat.
