WINE REVIEW: Signorello, 2018 Chardonnay, ‘Hope’s Cuvée’, Napa Valley, CA ($98)

by Andrew Chalk

A memorable chardonnay that combines exceptional fruit with telling winemaking. Would be a great pairing with rich cream sauces or as a quaffing wine on its own.

Appearance: Pale gold;

Nose: Tropical fruit (mango, pineapple), golden apples, lime;

Palate: Vivid acid, finely honed fruit. Powerful phenolic backbone;
