This is a single-vineyard garnacha (grenache) at a bargain basement price. It flies well above its price category and is first-rate accompaniment to Texas barbecue brisket or ribs (pork or beef).

It is dark for garnacha, and opaque to the core. Colors of ruby and blackcurrant blue. Nose of forest floor, black pepper, pencil lead, Black cherry flavors with a chewy tannic core.

A great value. Recommended.

Sample.
