Appearance: Opaque ruby.

Nose: Forward ripe red fruit. Raspberries, strawberries;

Taste: Soft tannins, medium acid, strawberry confiture, plum. Medium weight. bright fruit;

This wine suggests that the Italian grape dolcetto, most usually associated with Piedmont in northwestern Italy has a future in Texas as a lighter red alongside full-bodied brethren like cabernet sauvignon and mourvèdre. Serve this with red pasta dishes or barbecue.
