The cool northern California county of Mendocino provides the grapes for this wine made by one the country’s best sparkling wine producers. The production method is the same as that used in the most famous wine producing region in the world, Champagne (known as méthode traditionelle).
Widely available, this would be a wonderful wine to serve at Thanksgiving. Not just as a pre-prandial, but the way the French serve Champagne, throughout the meal.
