Fredericksburg, Texas Hill Country

Jim and Ranae Mills own Rustic Spur Vineyards near Fredericksburg, but their three dogs run the show. Annie and Pirate are Border Collies and Tannin is a Border Collie Mix. Tannin was away on a film contract so we will focus on the other two here. Twelve year old Annie is recognizable by her chocolate colored coat (although she started out red). Pirate is 10, and Annie’s son. The two together show their collie herding heritage, even herding Jim’s lawn mower.
