NEW DOG OF THE WEEK! STELLA, MCPHERSON CELLARS

Wine club members and regular visitors to McPherson Cellars in downtown Lubbock always look out for Stella. Thomas Turman (Hospitality and Event Director) got her 8 years ago as a two year old dog to detect seizures. She is part collie (for intelligence) and part Labrador (for friendliness). After a decade of service she is now retired. That means climbing up on the couch for a snooze, munching cheese, and wandering around the winery checking on all the employees.
